The Seasons of Wellfield

2022 at Wellfield Botanic Gardens celebrates a Year of Connections!

After the challenges we’ve all faced over the past couple of years, we can all agree on the need to connect. Each of our seasons will celebrate “connections” in its own way, whether you are visiting the Gardens to connect with nature, or friends and family or yourself.

For more information or questions about our programs email info@wellfieldgardens.org or call 574-266-2006, x105.

      Hi Brenda,
We offer free admission for retired and active Military on Veteran’s day, and caregivers of those with disabilities receive free admission. Are you an Elkhart County resident? Thanks to a generous grant from the Elkhart County Community Foundation, we offer free admission to Elkhart County residents on Tuesdays. Just present your ID at our Visitors Cottage for proof of residence. Hope this helps!

What is the best date to see the tulip gardens?

    Hi Lauren,
While many factors determine when the peak blooming time is for our spring annuals, it’s usually a safe bet that they will be blooming in early-mid May. The best way to know for sure is to follow us on Facebook or Instagram, as we post photos there regularly in-season. You can also call us, or email info@wellfieldgardens to find out more. Hope you enjoy visiting!
