- Our Garden Party Lunch: Enjoy assorted mini-croissant sandwiches, Lynda’s Fruit Salad, broccoli salad, fresh pie or Lemon Sunburst Cake, and tea/water/soft drinks. AND as a special treat, enjoy Four Winds Garden Club’s famous SPRINGTIME SOUP to accompany your meal.
1-2 pm: Session #5: Walking Tours of Wellfield Botanic Gardens with Horticulture Manager, Josh Steffen and Robert and Peggy Weed Executive Director, Eric Garton, featuring:
- Behind the scenes tour of our new construction projects including the Children’s Garden, a gift from the Rex and Alice A. Martin Foundation and our Japanese-style Island Garden under construction, a gift from Don and Jurate Krabill.
- Seasonal installations, plantings, and botanical highlights
- Sustainability practices
- What does the future hold for Wellfield Botanic Gardens? – A look into our Master Plan
2 pm: Wrapup, closing comments, and Thank You.
