- General Admission for Elkhart County Residents is free of charge on Tuesdays during our ‘Spring and Summer’ (April-October) and ‘Fall’ Seasons (November-December). REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED – please click HERE to register for free admission. Proof of residency must be provided by each adult in your party to gain free admission!

This is important: During Free Admission Days for Elkhart County Residents, customary rates still apply for field trips, group tours and group admission (10+ guests), rentals, and may apply for special programs and events. Reciprocal Admissions
We honor American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Admission Program, which allows free admission to Wellfield for the named card holder(s), or, in the case of a household type of membership, two free admissions. Only one reciprocal membership will be honored per visit. Please call us if you have specific questions regarding the reciprocal program, as details may vary from your home institution.

Pets
Trained service animals are welcome. Dogs can be admitted with Wellfield registration (available as an add-on to their human’s membership) during general admission hours, but please, leave Fido at home when we’re having a special event. Wellfield is not responsible for pets left in cars.
Weapons
All visitors are prohibited from possessing openly carried or concealed firearms or other weapons, regardless of whether a federal or state license to possess weapons has been issued.
