It’s a celebration of our Nation’s Public Gardens! National Public Gardens Day was created in 2009 to drive local and national exposure to the importance of building vibrant, relevant gardens committed to community enrichment and environmental responsibility through community engagement, sustainable practices and conversation. In 2019, National Public Gardens Day became National Public Gardens WEEK.
While we are sad we can’t celebrate in person this year, our staff is committed to making the Gardens available to you virtually so you feel like you’re here!
Wellfield is featuring a variety of virtual programming throughout National Public Gardens Week May 8-17.
Look for Facebook LIVE events daily, including:
- 12 p.m. Moments of Zen – – enjoy a gorgeous backdrop of sight and sound to accompany your lunch or just relax as if you’re at Wellfield
- 2:30 p.m. Wellness Walks – – let our staff show you around! We’ll be sharing a half-hour walk to show you what’s growing on at Michiana’s most beautiful location.
We’ll also be featuring a variety of online classes and virtual tours; see the lineup and register here.
