Elkhart County Symphony Orchestra presents: “Musical Origami: Kaleidoscope of Music, Art and Nature” – Sunday, July 11, 2021

Wellfield Botanic Gardens is thrilled to welcome the Elkhart County Symphony back to the Gardens for a special outdoor performance on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Tickets available at our Visitors Cottage starting at 3:30 p.m.

The event is called “Musical Origami: Kaleidoscope of Music, Art and Nature”, and it’s actually several concerts in one! “Musical Origami” will be a set of performances by small ensembles scattered throughout Wellfield.

The audience is invited to tour the Gardens and enjoy both the beauty of nature, the beauty of live music performance and our special OrigamiintheGardens2 exhibit! Seven music ensembles will perform over the course of two hours in three separate areas along the garden pathway. The small groups will include Zephyr Woodwind Quintet, Generations Jazz Trio, and brass and string ensembles.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase onsite; outside food and beverages may not be brought in (ie, no coolers). Performance attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or a blanket. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets securely online in advance (and save a couple bucks, too!) or tickets may be purchased in-person at Wellfield’s Visitors Cottage during regular business hours, which are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. The Visitors Cottage is located at 1011 North Main Street in Elkhart.
