A Holiday Message from the Director

We believe the secret to a good life is getting outside.
In this 2021 #YearOfPeace at Wellfield, this simple core value of ours has never been more important. The power of nature to restore, nurture, and bring peace to our spirits has never been more important than now – for our community, our country, and our world. We hope this letter finds you well and with peace in your heart as we celebrate the holiday season and look forward to the New Year ahead.

Thank you for helping us GROW in 2021!
Whether you’re a valued Member, guest, volunteer, sponsor, have shared something positive about Wellfield with a friend—or ALL of the above—Thank you for your support. We know you appreciate the financial challenges faced by many not-for-profit organizations in Elkhart County and beyond. Wellfield is no exception as we strive to create a world-class experience for guests of all ages, varied backgrounds, and expanding interests. Throughout the year we’ve made great strides; visitation continues to climb, membership sales continue to rise, and our reach is growing our audience and the needs we’re serving on a daily basis.

While these trends are positive, revenue from admissions and memberships alone represents only one-quarter of our annual operating budget. Addressing a growing audience and the associated financial challenges with the needs of more guests onsite takes resources. With your help, we can finish the year strong and continue to further our Mission to celebrate the inseparable relationship between water and life, inspire creativity and lifelong learning, foster stewardship of our natural world, and grow community.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us meet the need.

Giving options are simple and appreciated:

If you’d like to consider options for planned giving or supporting Wellfield in another way that is meaningful to you, including volunteering your time or including Wellfield in your estate planning, please call or email info@wellfieldgardens.org.

On behalf of our hardworking Staff, incredible Volunteers, and visionary Board of Directors, THANK YOU for your support. We send our warmest wishes of peace, health, and kindness to you this holiday season and wish you the happiest New Year ahead.

Sincerely,

Eric Garton
