It seems like Mother Nature has decided to turn the page on the calendar; the tulips (did you know we have over 40,000?) are starting to bloom, and things are definitely picking up at the Gardens! This Saturday, May 5th, our Garden Party: Springtime Soup and Garden Dialogues returns! It promises to be a beautiful day in the gardens for learning and fun. If you haven’t registered yet, follow the link above for more info!
But NEXT weekend things really pick up. Please make plans now to join us – we’ve got something for everyone!
Friday, May 11th is National Public Gardens Day; a celebration of public gardens and their important role in our community and environment. For info on what Wellfield is doing to celebrate, click here.
We are really excited to spend Saturday, May 12th celebrating Goshen! Please join us for Goshen at the Gardens, sponsored by Goshen College, Goshen Health, Wellington & Weddell Eye Care, Kuert Concrete, and the Community Foundation of Elkhart County and in collaboration with The Goshen News, The Hart, and The Globe 91.1FM. FREE ADMISSION for all, a concert by the Ben Miller Band at 5pm, and tasty food and beverage available for purchase. How can you not come out for that??
We all love Mom, and what better way to celebrate her than by pampering her with visit to the Gardens for Mother’s Day, Sunday May 13th? Our Mother’s Day luncheon is SOLD OUT again (but if you’d like to be put on a wait list, or learn more about the event, please click HERE). Even if you didn’t score tickets to the luncheon, come on out for a walk! We are open 11 am-5 pm and Moms receive FREE admission all day.
This is just the start of many great events this season – you can always find out more by visiting our Facebook or Instagram pages, our Seasons of Wellfield page here on our website (have you bookmarked it yet?), or our favorite way: in person at our Visitor’s Cottage! Our helpful staff is always ready to tell you about everything we have coming up; stop by or call us today!
See you at the Gardens!
