It’s hard to believe it is almost July! If you have’t had a chance to come out to the Gardens yet, now is the time. The Gardens are looking gorgeous, The Quilt Garden #QuiltGardens is filling in nicely, our Seward Johnson sculpture “Inner World, Outer World” is still reading the paper, but selfie ready #EpicArtAdventures.
This weekend in Elkhart brings one of my favorite events of the year: Jazz Fest. We at Wellfield are looking forward to kicking off Jazz Fest AND our 10-week concert series, Groovin’ in the Gardens, presented by Center for Hospice Care on Thursday night. Our first concert of the season will feature the Jazz Fest All-Stars, which will include Bill Allred on Trombone, Terry Lower on Piano, Rob Parton on Trumpet, and many more. They are sure to set a great mood for the weekend! Click the links for tickets for individual concerts and discounted season passes.
On the Health and Wellness side, our Yoga classes have been well-attended so far. We are looking forward to Sunday afternoon, June 25th at 2pm, when classes with Romeo Berthier start. We are excited to add Romeo to our list of stellar instructors!
If you haven’t been out to try a class on Tuesdays with Beth or Saturdays with Barb (or even if you have!), give Romeo’s class a try! Click here to sign up, or click here for more information.
If you haven’t seen the pieces yet, don’t forget about Sculpture in the Gardens: Heavy Metal, featuring John Mishler presented by the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau. These pieces are stunningly beautiful and definitely one of a kind! This one (Riverdale in Bloom) is hidden away, off the main path – have you found it yet?
You may have missed it, but our new 14-foot Basso Profundo wind chime was installed last week. Its calming tones will relax and soothe you as you stroll towards the concert tent or Annual Garden!
As always, keep checking our website and our Facebook page for all the latest updates.
With all these different activities, there has to be something for you! See you at the Gardens!
