The true beauty of Wellfield Botanic Gardens is not visible to everyone, and it isn’t in the landscape. The true beauty lies in the heart of our volunteers. Our volunteers are extraordinary, every day people. They give the gift of their time, talents and their passion. The gift of a person’s time is priceless and can’t be replaced. Thank you just doesn’t seem to express the gratitude I feel for our volunteers. I am truly amazed at all they do. My job can feel a little overwhelming at times. I see all the jobs where volunteers are needed and it can feel like an impossible request, but our volunteers come thru. They make Wellfield Botanic Gardens a reality. They bring joy to more people then they will ever know.

I am reminded of a quote I read from John Quincy Adams: “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more and do more, you are a leader”. Our volunteers are leaders.  Their actions inspire people everyday. I have been blessed with a job that allows me to see how our guests are inspired and I also have the honor to work with volunteers that make our community a better place. Thank you just isn’t enough, my gratitude runs deep and from the bottom of my heart and from all the staff at Wellfield we tip our hats to you!
