This weekend always marks the official kick-off to summer; we are definitely getting ready at the Gardens! The Seward Johnson sculpture is ready for your selfies to be shared #EpicArtAdventures, and the newly-planted Quilt Garden is starting to grow!
Here’s everything you need to know to plan your weekend visit:
Friday, we will close our Visitor’s Cottage at 2pm so we can get set up for Bottlecaps & Corks. Do you have your tickets yet? You can buy them in person when the event starts, but you can save a few bucks and purchase them in advance by clicking here.
Our normal hours prevail for the weekend:
Saturday 9am-7pm
Sunday 11am-5pm, and we will be
OPEN on Memorial Day 9am-7pm.
Spend some time remembering and honoring our service men and women with a leisurely walk through the Gardens. Have you been out to see our Heavy Metal Sculpture in the Gardens exhibit yet? Do you need a special gift for that favorite teacher? Stop in our Visitor’s Cottage and pick up something unique; we’ve got new books, soaps, lotions and many other fun gifts.
If you mention you saw this blog and are an active or retired Military member, you will receive complimentary admission to the Gardens on Monday. And if you show proof of service, you can ALWAYS save 10% on a NEW Individual, Family or Grandparent-level membership. We thank you for your service, and we honor the memory of those who gave their lives for our freedom.
See you in the Gardens!
