Please join us in the Gardens on Tuesday, May 16th – we’ve got a couple great programs guaranteed to entertain your tots!
At 10am, we will have our Lil’ Sprouts Preschool Program, celebrating Indiana Arbor Day. Lil’ Sprouts is a hands-on learning program where children ages 3-5 learn about the natural world around them through stories, music, games and activities. Learning is based on the Indiana Early Learning Foundations for Kindergarten readiness. For more information about Indiana Early Learning Foundations, click here. The program runs about 1 hour.
Registration for Lil’ Sprouts is recommended, so we can be sure to have enough supplies on hand. To register, click here, or call 574-266-2006.
If you can’t make it at 10am, come on out at 6pm for Stories in the Gardens, presented in partnership with the Elkhart County Public Library. This program runs about 30-40 minutes and presents an opportunity for the whole family to put a blanket down and relax while enjoying a fun story, with the beauty of the Gardens as a backdrop. Registration is not required!
Our Lil’ Sprouts and Stories in the Gardens programs happen on the Third Tuesday of each month – did we mention they are both FREE? – so if you can’t make it this week, mark your calendars now for June 20th (and register here) when we talk about how caterpillars become butterflies! See you in the Gardens!
