Winter Tree ID Workshop

Did you know that it can be as easy to identify a tree in the winter as in the summer? You can learn how at Wellfield Botanic Garden’s Winter Tree ID Workshop. This hands-on workshop will teach participants how use tree shape, bark, twigs, leaf scars, and more to identify local trees. Participants will receive a Winter Tree ID pocket guide. This is a wonderful way to get outside and enjoy the season. Bring the whole family or come on your own. Appropriate for ages 10 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited. Registration is required. Registration ends Friday, January 15th. Portions of the class will be held outdoors so dress for the weather. Register online or call 574-266-2006.
